Beauty of Pakistan

Attractiveness:

Beautiful Pakistan is located in a wide range country. From mountains to deserts the land and climate of Pakistan gives all the comforts, so they can enjoy peace and tranquility. Also Pakistan has many natural wonders like Karakoram range, Indus River valley, Hunza Valley, Shogran glaciers etc.

Climate:

According to weather reports Pakistan has one of Asia's warmest regions on earth. It has an average temperature from 25-30 degree C. With its elevation the region gets an annual rainfall range of about 1200 mm. The entire Pakistani territory is green. According to weather experts, it’s the only place where there is not enough rain. So you can expect a lot of greenery. Moreover, the region has a pleasant sunniness which allows you to relax at the time of morning with your family before going out for shopping and you can stay happy during evening.

Humidity :

The state of Pakistan is blessed with humidity which comes from all places to the maximum level of 40%. So the average humidity level is around 50% which makes it comfortable for people who live in the area. The state also gets very hot in winter time due to high altitude of around 7000 meters it can get unbearable for tourists. But as soon as fall, the temperature drops dramatically. You don't need to worry about summers being hot anymore in Pakistan. So the summer season will be beautiful for those living in the region.

Water:

Pakistan's water has some major advantages. Firstly the river Ganges receives 10 times more amount of surface waters than Indian rivers. Secondly there are three major dams (Umaria dam of Sindh, Irrigation dams of Punjab and Azad Hindukull), which play a big role in controlling floods and keep Pakistan safe from sudden drought. It's also known as largest freshwater reserve of south Asian countries.

Agriculture:

Pakistan is the second most fertile country in south Asia. Every year it produces about 17 million tons of rice, sugarcane and wheat. Besides, Pakistan produces 6 million tons maize, 2 million tons wheat and 1.7 billion potatoes. If you are interested in farming then Pakistan offers best opportunities.

Capital City :

Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi are major cities of Islamabad and Karachi respectively located in the capital of Islamabad city. These are both famous and big cities of Pakistan and their economy is highly developed. Thus one should consider Islamabad especially because it’s more popular for historical reasons as well because it used to be the center of power and culture till 1960s.

Culture :

Pakistan is home to many ancient civilizations like Jainism, Hinduism and Buddhism. Most of the religions are practiced in remote areas of Pakistan. Pakistanis have a love for food and also enjoy cooking different kinds of cuisines. They prefer eating spicy foods as it increases their strength and enhances metabolism. Apart from cooking food, it's really important to take care of freshness of fruits and vegetables which are not available elsewhere like tomatoes and peppers especially during summers season.

Pakistan is extremely rich in many varieties of fruits. It has a tremendous taste and variety of flavors such as kheer, biryani, paella, paneer tikka, mafra and much of the cuisines of western world with a mix of local flavor.

Ethnicity :

The geographical locations of Pakistan give the ethnic groups an identity in each country and they are very proud which shows their culture, traditions and religion. Though this is common for every state a particular language is spoken, however you can't find the same kind of food with people from the same ethnicity. In the western part of Pakistan you can see two kinds of tribes, one is Punjabis and another one is Kashmiris. All the religious groups have their own specialities and each group enjoys their culture and traditions.

Cultural Heritage :

Pakistan is rich in cultural heritage. We have ancient monuments and cultural buildings from India, Nepal and Afghanistan etc. The historic sites spread from centuries back till now and they are still performing their historical works with full glory.

11. Architecture:

Nowadays architecture is one of the most significant parts of our history. There are several ancient architectural structures on Pakistan’s territory and they include Taj Mahal, Bahria garden, Shalimar Bagh, Chaman Bazar, Siraj udulama mosque, Badshahi mosque and others. The architecture of Pakistan is very fascinating and eye catching. The unique structure gives us unique impression. Some prominent architects are Nawaz Sharif, Nadeem Sarwar, Khushali Shah and Zaha Satti.

History :

Pakistan is the land between the borders of several nations and it was once a British colony. India occupied the north-west area in 1847 but later became independent after partition. It got divided into two states Pakistan and India.

Festivals :

Festivals are some common practices of Pakistanis and they are performed throughout the month of March. Events like New Year, Dholpur and Purnima are some very famous events in Pakistan. Though some religious festivals, e.g., Christmas and Easter are celebrated in Pakistan, we cannot forget the huge amount of festivities that is held in Peshawar and Rawalpindi.

Religious Practices :

Pakistan is the biggest Muslim nation in South Asia. They believe in the Holy Quran. Muslims worship five sets of seven prophets in five days a week. They call them Qibla, Mardeeh, Ibrahim, Uzzah, Usthan and Asmaa, who is called Imam and Sunna. A vast majority of Muslims are Sunni sect. Their most distinctive feature is their way of dressing. Hindus wear colorful clothes. Muslims use silk clothes and have long hair. However, Muslims share almost the same dress code as Hindus and Christians. Hindus use color, flowers, light makeup and sweets whereas Muslims use spices, cotton fabrics, colors, sweets etc. Both Hindus and Muslims use black turbans and Sikhs are using white ones. Islamic fashion varies from different parts of the world to wear their traditional style and Muslims follow different designs, some simple yet elegant styles while others are very extravagant.

Economy :

According to census Pakistan has a total population of 29,734,636; of whom 14.9 million belong to age group 15 to 49 years. Almost 80 percent of Pakistan’s population lives in the urban area. Approximately half of the population resides in Karachi and Peshawar. Most of the working population belongs to agricultural sector. Around 8.6% lives in agriculture. More than 3.5 billion people reside in rural areas of Pakistan. Majority of the population depends on agriculture, followed by livestock and fish industry (1.3%), energy (1), transport sector (1.3%), and communication sector (1.1%). Agricultural production accounts for nearly 12% of national exports alongside petroleum products, cereals, cotton yarn and tobacco.

Social Structure :

Pakistan is a patriarchal society. Men are supposed to lead their families while women are expected to take care of children and housework (childcare etc). Families belong to upper caste, the richest among upper-caste households, with the poorest lower-caste families, whose members own less than half of the wealth among all types of households. People belonging to low caste are treated equally by law and custom with regards to marriage. Marriage is considered to be ‘a contract’. Family names are given in the order of parents; father’s, mother’s, wife’s, son’s, daughter’s etc. Parents and elders are always consulted and consulted before they agree to marry a child. Each member of a family is encouraged to come forward to claim his/her own property when he/she finds it necessary.

Religion:

Islam is the largest religion in Pakistan. Muslims believe in prophet Muhammad, Quran and hadith. Muslims are quite respectful to Allah and offer their right hand to God when they pray. One must have a valid passport to enter Pakistan. After birth, Muslim children are taught the basic teachings of the Qur'an. Pakistanis generally celebrate Christmas, Easter, Eid al-Fitr, Pidumartay and Eid ul-Azha.

Language :

Pakistan is the most linguistically diverse country in Asia as per recent census. Urdu and English are the official languages of Pakistan. Almost 95% of the population speak Urdu and Urdu is widespread in large metropolitan centers and small towns. About 85% of the population speaks English and it is spread across the country. Due to various reasons, the number of Urdu speakers is rising, however Pakistanis have decreased the Urdu speaking population and there is a gap. Pakistani Census Bureau showed that Pakistani speakers are increasing due to social factors or migration. Urdu is widely taught in schools and colleges in schools and universities in the country and it's also taught at higher educational institutions. Pakistani students study abroad and it is quite easy for them to find learning opportunities overseas. Pakistan is one of few countries where students studying abroad can get enrolled in University abroad in UK and Australia etc. Students in foreign universities can be seen sitting next to their classmates having similar backgrounds.
