MOHENJO-DARO

Mohenjo-Daro (Sindh)
Mohenjo-Daro is Pakistan's archeological site situated in Sindh near Larkana City. This archeological site was found in 1922, it's real name is unknown but is called Mohenjo-daro which is sidhi language word that means Mound of the Dead.
Mohenjo-daro was built in the twenty sixth century BCE. At that time it was the largest cities of Indus Valley Civilization which developed around 3000 BCE. When it discover by Rakhaldas Bandyopadhyay which was an Archeological Surveyor of India at that time were found many artifacts like dancing girl,gold and jasper jewellery, copper and stone tools and children toys etc.
Tourists come here from all over the world and get information to this historical place.
