Manora Island

Manora is island of Karachi that is situated south of the port of Karachi. Manora is connected to Karachi through the seaside called Sandpit. It is most popular picnic point of Karachi because of its large sandy beach. At the end of island there is tallest lighthouse of Pakistan.
There is a oldest temple that is known by Shiri Varun Dev Mandir.
Easy way to reach Manora is from Kemari from it people can enjoy journey of boat, approximately 15 to 20 minutes take to reach Manora by boat from Kemari. Both private and KPT (Karachi Port Trust) boat services available for people to reach there.
Seaside of Manora is far from boat point, after reaching Manora Island most of people hire pickup to go to the beach. At beach side many types of fishes are ready to eat for visitors by paying there cost.
   There is a small cantonment of Manora here that is under by Pakistan Navy that maintain its own infrastructure of electricity and water supply.
